Nepal: Sarbottam Cement launches commercial operations16 December 2014, Published under Cement NewsSarbottam Cement, a newcomer to the Nepalese cement industry, has started commercial operations from its new greenfield plant. The project is promoted by local company Saurabh Group while a foreign investor holds a 45 per cent stake. The Sarbottam Cement plant will have the capacity to produce 400,000t of clinker in the first stage, and then 1Mt in the future, according to the company's website.
